About
After studying Industrial Design and learning the significance of form and function, I worked in a design studio for a few years. It was during this time that my interest in Photography was ignited, through taking product shots of our designs.
The advent of 3D modelling software and powerful computers brought about new design tools and an exciting new industry - Visual Effects. I decided to switch and embarked on a 30 year career, working on Hollywood movies and TV shows, that taught me valuable lessons about composition and light.
As my role progressed from artist to manager I found myself drawn back to Photography as my creative outlet.
Whether I’m capturing landscapes in the Scottish Highlands or photographing architecture and people in the heart of London, I naturally gravitate towards a more minimalist aesthetic.
